Resume

Emma Clark grew up in Los Angeles and studied graphic design and studio art in Santa Barbara. She’s passionate about visual development, brand marketing, and illustration. She’s also a sucker for some good packaging design.

When she’s not creating, she’s usually watching anime, making sure her chocolate lab Winnie’s tail isn’t clearing off the coffee table, or starting a new home improvement project. Her friends make fun of her undying love for grey and ability to marathon-cry.

Emma currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area working in marketing in the healthcare industry. She thrives in an environment where she can collaborate with a team, knowing her work is making a larger impact.

Hi, let’s work together

I’m a visual designer and illustrator with 5 years of professional experience and a whole lot of audacity looking for a role in brand development and marketing.

Don’t hesitate to reach out—I’d love to hear from you.

I push. I’ve always been willing to voice my opinions and challenge existing ideas, especially with subjects I’m passionate about. I encourage my teams to analyze the impact of our work, whether social or logistical, but I also look for ways to push boundaries and make things better. Most recently I designed for One Medical, a healthcare company. With the opportunity to make an impact in such an important (and problematic) industry, I was first in line to advocate for and initiate progressive action in regards to health education, queer education, body inclusivity, and mental health.

I adapt. I’m always juggling and can switch gears easily, whether that’s caused by a global pandemic or shifting stakeholder opinions. I’ve been the go-to person for short turnaround projects, but I also dig into problems with conflicting guidelines or needs and find a way to jigsaw-puzzle a solution that doesn’t sacrifice standards. I’ll repurpose existing designs or overhaul established (but inefficient) processes. My roots are in fast-paced service, my future is in higher-impact problem-solving.

I'm hilarious. I make sure to bring energy and joy to my work. I lift spirits and connect with teammates. I function as a human urban dictionary for confused coworkers and curate memes for the masses. I also have 3 dogs that make frequent guest appearances in my meetings.
